New pet? Registration takes about five minutes — have your pet's chip number and a payment card ready.
For keepers

They're Not "Pets."
They're Family.

Your Aegis Pet Hub account keeps every one of them registered, up to date and one scan away from home — for a single one-off fee.

Everything in One Place

All your pets, one dashboard

Every registered animal on one screen — chip status, record completeness and pending actions at a glance, with a nudge when details need a check.

Free updates for life

New address, new number, new name — update your record any time at no charge. Keeping details current is a legal duty; we make it painless.

Lost & stolen alerts

Mark your pet lost in seconds, add a police reference for theft, and set a safe finder message. If anyone searches the chip, you know immediately.

Safe keepership transfers

Rehoming? Invite the new keeper, they confirm their details, and the record moves over with a complete history — no animal can transfer unchipped.

Backup contacts

Add a secondary contact, or a temporary carer with start and end dates — perfect for holidays, so a lost pet never rings a phone that's abroad.

Certificates on demand

Download your registration confirmation and a printable emergency summary whenever you need one — for the cattery, the vet or the pet-sitter.

Privacy by role

Who Sees Your Details?

Short answer: almost nobody.

The publicNothing. A public chip search only reveals which database holds the record — never a name, address or number.
FindersNothing directly. We relay messages both ways, so neither your number nor theirs is ever exposed.
Vets, wardens & welfareThe minimum needed to reunite you — and only once verified. Every access is logged and attributable.
YouEverything. Full access to your records, your data, and a log of who has looked at them.

Keeper Questions

My pet is already chipped — can I move the record to Aegis Pet Hub?
Yes. Enter the chip number during registration and we'll check where it's currently held. If it's on another UK database we'll guide you through the transfer route rather than creating a duplicate record — duplicates are the enemy of reunification.
What do I need to register?
Your pet's 15-digit microchip number (on their paperwork, or any vet can scan it free), your contact details, your pet's description and date of birth, and a payment card for the one-off £20 fee.
I've moved house. Is updating really free?
Completely free, and always will be. Log in, edit your address, done. You'll get a confirmation, and the change is recorded in your pet's history.
What happens when I mark my pet lost?
The record is flagged instantly. Any authorised search of the chip triggers an alert to you, finders can reach you through our privacy-protected messaging, and for theft you can attach a police crime reference. Marking them found closes the alert and keeps the history.
Is my registration proof that I own my pet?
It's strong evidence that you're the registered keeper, but not conclusive legal proof of ownership. What we do guarantee is a complete, tamper-proof history of the record — which is exactly what's needed if a dispute ever arises.
What if I rehome my pet?
Start a transfer from your dashboard. The new keeper confirms their own name, address and phone number before the transfer completes — that's a legal requirement — and the full keepership history is preserved. An animal that isn't microchipped (or validly exempt) can't lawfully be transferred at all.
